'Kingdom of Fife' is a Damen 6114 anchor handling supply vessel. The vessel was built by the Damen Shipyards Galatz yard in Romania and was delivered to Briggs Marine in 2008.

The town of Burntisland sits on the north shore of the River Forth, directly across the water from the city of Edinburgh. The town is home to Briggs Marine, a marine services company, and every year they mount an illuminated Christmas tree on top of a crane at the docks.
